Lubenas Ning Pasku

Each year, the Municipality of Magalang in Pampanga joyously commemorates the Banal a Batuin queng Magalang: Lubenas ning Pasku, a cultural and religious extravaganza featuring the Lubenas procession.

Lubenas is a captivating land-based procession characterized by a procession head adorned with a cross and two rows of star lanterns elegantly mounted on bamboo poles. This captivating spectacle accompanies the andas or carroza, gracefully bearing the image of the patron saint.

The Lubenas procession, which usually starts before the Simbang Gabi, stands as a poignant expression of the community’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
