The loan condonation for farmers, approved by President BBM, will come into effect on July 7, 2023. Under this program, the government will assume responsibility for repaying the loans of the farmers directly to the creditor bank.

This initiative aims to provide much-needed financial relief to the farming community and alleviate the burden of loan repayment.
