The most coveted Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) being given by the Department of Interior and Local Government to an LGU has been awarded to the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF MAGALANG under the leadership of Mayor Malu Paras Lacson as a testament to its commitment in providing the best services possible to all its constituents and transparency in the conduct of all programs and projects as a result of more progressive and efficient management.
Every LGU was evaluated using the 10 components, namely: Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, and Sensitivity Programs, Safety, Peace and Order, Business Friendliness and Competitiveness, Environmental Management and Tourism, Heritage Development, Culture and the Arts, Programs for Sustainable Education, Health Compliance and Responsiveness, and Youth Development.
