Magalang Mayor Malu Paras Lacson together with Municipal Treasurer Raissa Bayani and Coun. Norman Lacson signed the Memorandum of Agreement with GCash represented by Vice President, Head for Enterprise and Public Sector Jose Luis G Reyes. The partnership aims to provide a fast and hassle-free way of paying business tax and dues including the renewal of business permits and licenses to the local government unit of Magalang.
It can be recalled that Mayor Malu promised a full digitalization of the Business Permit and Licensing Office to prevent red tape and seamlessly improve the system of renewing business permits for business owners. The Mayor also mentioned that the digitalization of the Business Permit and Licensing Office will entice business owners to invest in our town that will bring jobs and opportunities for the Magaleรฑos.
GCash Vice President, Head for Enterprise and Public Sector Jose Luis G Reyes mentioned that Magalang is the 1st municipality in Pampanga to implement its e-payment system to bring convenience and safety to its citizens.
